Terms of service
1. Acceptance
By installing crawwwl, creating an account, or using any part of the crawwwl service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
crawwwl is a frontend code audit tool. It analyses JavaScript and TypeScript project source files for performance, accessibility, SEO, code quality, and security issues. The service is provided as-is. We make no warranty that findings are complete, accurate, or actionable for your specific project.
The free tier (quick and standard audits) is available without an account. We reserve the right to modify or limit the free tier at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to use it. Notify us immediately at hello@crawwwl.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.
4. Deep audits and payments
Deep audits require a paid balance. Usage is purchased in advance at £5 per deep audit, with a minimum top-up of £5. Your balance does not expire.
Usage is non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law. Usage consumed by completed audits (successful or failed after exhausting retries) is non-recoverable. If a deep audit fails before any AI processing occurs, you are not charged.
Prices are in GBP and exclusive of any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Submit source code that you do not own or have authorisation to audit
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the API
- Use automated scripts to run audits at a rate that degrades service for other users
- Attempt to extract model weights, system prompts, or internal scoring logic through adversarial inputs
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Violation of acceptable use may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of any source code you submit for auditing. By using the service, you grant crawwwl a limited licence to process your code solely for the purpose of generating the audit report. We do not claim ownership of your code and will not use it for any other purpose. See the privacy policy for details on how source code is stored.
7. Limitation of liability
crawwwl is provided as-is without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, crawwwl and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to production incidents, data loss, or missed security vulnerabilities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your audit history and any remaining balance are forfeited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
